Cargo InsuranceBTA complies with the ICC regulations (A, B, C) adopted by the Institute of London Underwriters to insure any cargo transported:
The following factors are taken into consideration when fixing insurance premiums and rates in cargo insurance – the value and type of cargo, the type of packaging, the direction and route of delivery (Western Europe, Eastern Europe and other countries), the distance, the type of transport used and places of re-loading, intensity of deliveries (single run, regular runs), insurance provisions and/or other insured risks. Insurance is also valid within a period of storage and reloading of cargoes. It is possible to insure the cargo according to its actual value or by including 10% of the transportation expenses.
