What to do in case of an accident?
- Do everything to reduce further losses.
- Call the police and fill in the accident statement in cases indicated in the Insurance Regulations.
- Call BTA to report on the accident.
- Come to BTA, taking with you the CASCO policy, the vehicle registration documents and your driver's licence, and fill out the indemnification form.
- After inspecting the vehicle, BTA officer will prepare an inspection protocol listing the damages.
- Upon receipt of all the required documents, BTA will inform you on its decision about the insurance benefit and offer a repair shop for your vehicle. You can use another repair shop at your choice unless the repair costs exceed a cost estimate of the repair shop offered by BTA.
- If you don’t feel like repairing your car, you can receive monetary indemnity.
