What to do in case of an accident?

  1. Immediately apply to the respective public authorities: police, fire rescue or emergency department. Call common emergency number 112 for rescue operations, identification of the circumstances and causes of the accident.
  2. Take all necessary measures to save the property and prevent further losses.
  3. Notify BTA about the accident as soon as possible, fill out an application for insurance benefit and submit all the required documents on the accident so that BTA could make a decision concerning the award of insurance benefit.
  4. A BTA expert will inspect the property, assess the damages and prepare a cost estimate, which will serve as a basis for determining the amount of insurance benefit.
  5. Remember that you may not start repairs or elimination of the damaged objects before the inspection of the damaged or destroyed property by a representative of the insurance company.
