What to do in case of an accident?
- Immediately apply to the respective public authorities: police, fire rescue or emergency department. Call common emergency number 112 for rescue operations, identification of the circumstances and causes of the accident.
- Take all necessary measures to save the property and prevent further losses.
- Notify BTA about the accident as soon as possible, fill out an application for insurance benefit and submit all the required documents on the accident so that BTA could make a decision concerning the award of insurance benefit.
- A BTA expert will inspect the property, assess the damages and prepare a cost estimate, which will serve as a basis for determining the amount of insurance benefit.
- Remember that you may not start repairs or elimination of the damaged objects before the inspection of the damaged or destroyed property by a representative of the insurance company.
