We offer crop insurance, which will provide protection against the following main risks:
- Hail;
- Torrent;
- Storm;
- Freezing (winter crops only);
- Damage caused by wild animals and birds;
- Lightning;
- Fire;
- Harvest theft.
- Should an accident arise, causing damage to your crops and there are signs of fire or intentional actions of third parties, it is necessary to immediately notify the responsible state institution by phone 112 - Police, Fire and Rescue department for determining the circumstances and causes of the accident.
- One should take all necessary steps to save the crop and prevent additional or greater losses.
- It is also necessary to report the event as soon as possible, but no later than within 3 working days, to the BTA general number 85 2600 600 or via the website bta.lt, to submit all the necessary documents (requested by BTA). Upon receipt of the notification of the event, the BTA specialist will ensure the inspection of your crop, assess the damage and loss and determine the amount of indemnity.
- It is worth noting that you cannot handle the scene until a representative of the insurance company has inspected the crop.
- BTA will make a decision on the payment of the insurance indemnity within the shortest possible time, not exceeding 30 calendar days from the date of receipt of all necessary documents about the event.
