We offer animal insurance that will provide protection against all major risks:
- fire;
- forces of nature;
- intentional acts of third parties;
- non-communicable diseases;
- communicable dangerous and very dangerous diseases;
- trauma;
- effects of heat;
- freezing;
- poisoning;
- vehicle collision;
- damage caused by other animals;
- effects of external factors.
- In the event of signs of disease or illness of the animal, the local veterinary services are to be contacted immediately and all instructions given by the veterinarian must be followed.
- The competent state authorities (i.e. fire and rescue department, police, emergency services, etc.) must be informed immediately.
- It is important to take all necessary steps to rescue other animals at the scene and to prevent additional or greater losses.
- In all cases, it is necessary to notify BTA about the event as soon as possible, but no later than within 3 working days, to deliver all the necessary documents and to fill in the application for insurance indemnity. Upon receipt of the notification of the accident, BTA will assess the damage and loss and determine the amount of indemnity.
- BTA will make a decision on the payment of the insurance indemnity within the shortest possible time, not exceeding 30 calendar days from the date of receipt of all necessary documents about the event.
